Vendor Info Overview

WHO CAN APPLY

 We accept Native and Non-Native vendors who offer products with a southwestern or native style:  jewelry, home decor, clothing and other items.  We carefully curate our vendors - no commercial vendors or MLM will be accepted. No re-packaged "made in China" stuff will be accepted.

VENDOR SPACES

Indoor Vendor Spaces: 10'x10'; $100, Air conditioned. Tables, chairs & electricity provided. You can set up tent pop-up frames but no canopy coverings. The venue is dimly it so lighting is recommended. WIFI available.


Outdoor Vendor Space: 10'x10', $50, located by entry door on concrete with no overhead protection. Tables, chairs & electricity provided. Pop-up tent/overhead covering is REQUIRED. Weights for tent REQUIRED - NO TENT STAKES. You will have access to the indoor venue for bathroom facilities and to cool off as needed.

SETUP AND BREAKDOWN

SETUP: You can set up on the Friday night before the event from 5PM-8PM or Saturday morning from 7AM-10AM. You must be operational by 10AM on Saturday morning.


BREAKDOWN: Indoor vendors must stay to the end of the PowWow festivities - approximately 9PM, unless give permission by the Vendor Coordinator. Outdoor vendors can request early breakdown.

DEADLINES AND PAYMENTS

Approved Vendors will receive a PayPal invoice at the email listed on your application.  


DEADLINES: Mailed or online application must be received or postmarked by August 1, 2025. You will be notified by August 6, 2025. Vendor fees are due upon notification of acceptance.


REFUNDS: 50% refund of vendor fees if requested by August 6. There will be NO REFUNDS after August 6. 

PERMITS, TAXES, LICENSING AND MORE

Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying applicable sales tax. You may find useful information here: https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/sales/


If you need a food handling health certificate, you are solely responsible for acquiring that before you set up. You may find useful information here: https://www.dshs.texas.gov/licensing-food-handler-training-programs


Animal Parts and Feathers: Vendors selling animal parts, pelts and feathers MUST comply with state and federal regulations pertaining to the item they possess with the intent to sell. The PowWow coordinators are NOT RESPONSIBLE for the legality of the items you offer for sale. You may find useful information here: https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/hunting


The PowWow Coordinators are supportive of the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990. This federal law is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in the marketing of Indian art and craft products within the United States.  It is illegal to offer or display for sale, or sell, any art or craft product in a manner that falsely suggests it is Indian produced, an Indian product, or the product of a particular Indian or Indian tribe or Indian arts and crafts organization, resident within the United States. All Vendors MUST provide an emergency contact person.
